After finishing his studies at the Fine Art School in Budapest, Gyula Issak worked for several years as a restorer, specializing in painting marble.
Several years later he found his passion for flower compositions.
He decided to refine his painting technique in the style of the 17th and 18th
This appeared to be an excellent choice because his exuberant use of color
inspires a feeling of absolute abundance and lusciousness.
Issak’s paintings have been exhibited in The Netherlands since 1985 and are now widely spread all over the world.
They are especially sought after among distinguished decorators in France and the United States.
Private collectors in Europe, America, China and the Middle East have acquired most of his work.
