The painter was born in Genève, Switzerland.
He was a painter, illustrator and even a professor at L’École des Beaux Arts of Genève.
He also was a pupil of Barthélemy Menn and Joseph Mittey.
He is well known because of his paintings of the South part of France, like Saint-Honorat in the surroundings of Cannes and Nice.
He painted in an impressionistic way.
He had several exhibitions in France.
The painter died in Genève in 1950.
