The painter was born in Vienna.


He studied at the ‘Academy of Munich’ and got lessons from F. Cormon in Paris. He travelled a lot to many countries.


He was a genre painter, had a special eye for details. He used to paint many Dutch girls in their costume.


He received a medal in Munich in 1901 and 1903 and was awarded distinction in 1903.


One can find his work in the museum of Munich.
