The painter was born in Vienna.

 

He studied at the ‘Academy of Munich’ and got lessons from F. Cormon in Paris. He travelled a lot to many countries.

 

He was a genre painter, had a special eye for details. He used to paint many Dutch girls in their costume.

 

He received a medal in Munich in 1901 and 1903 and was awarded distinction in 1903.

 

One can find his work in the museum of Munich.

 

There are many collectors of his work all over the world, particularly people in the USA love his work.
