Kaemmerer, Johan Hendrik Kaemmerer was born in The Hague in 1894 and spent most of his life here. He died in 1979.
He was a student and van Ype Wenning.
He can be characterized as someone in line with the Haagse School and was a student at the Academy of Visual Arts in The Hague, by J.G. from Jole and of the famous painter Ype Wenning.
He mainly painted landscapes, interiors, portraits and some (flower) still lifes.
He was a board member of Pictura Hagensis, the later Schetsclub in The Hague.
His work is loved by a large audience.
